PHA 6806 Pharmacoeconomic Modeling

Description

This course will provide students with an understanding of the principles and empirical methods to conduct cost-effectiveness analyses using decision-analytic modeling tools. The “hands-on” nature of this course will allow students to develop and implement a model-based cost effectiveness analysis on a healthcare topic of their choice.

Enrollment in this course may be capped.  Students are advised to register for their selected term (Summer A or B) as early as possible.

Prerequisite(s):

  1. Satisfactory completion of PHA 6283 Commercial Applications of Pharmacoeconomic Principles
  2. Satisfactory completion of PHA 6795 Quantitative Methods for Evidence-Based Pharmacy OR firm understanding of basic statistics.
