PHA 6793 Evidentiary Basis of Pharmaceutical Use

Description

The overall goal of the course is to familiarize students with methods and tools to evaluate and select patient-centered pharmacy services, drugs and other medical technologies.

Upon completion of the course students will be able to

  • Find and evaluate published medical literature for use in clinical decision-making
  • Understand scientific reasoning and the research process in this context
  • Describe how clinical findings are summarized in evidence reports and apply them appropriately in clinical decision-making
