Most students have a health  care background of some type or have worked in customer-facing roles for healthcare or life sciences companies.

Students come from a variety of backgrounds with at least a B.S. 

  • Pharmaceutical representatives
  • Medical science liaisons

  • Healthcare administrators
  • Physicians
  • Nurses
  • Clinical trial managers

But, we also have students from other walks of life. Legal or healthcare policy professionals, or quality improvement officers may also be strong candidates for the program.

MEDICAL SCIENCE LIAISON

R.M.

R.M. is a Medical Science Liaison at a small pharmaceutical company, responsible for working with health systems. He’s learning about managed care on-the-job but wants to grow in his position and be a leader for change in his company.

CLINICAL PHARMACIST

L.G.

L.G. is a Clinical Pharmacist employed at pharmacy benefit management company working on prior authorizations who is interested in growth opportunities that will drive decision-making on healthcare value.

HEALTHCARE ANALYST

H.S.

H.S. is a Healthcare Analyst working for a national health insurance company. She works with claims data providing data on healthcare resource utilization to her boss, but is ready to lead projects and increase her job prospects.

M.D.
