Program Costs

The University of Florida is proud to offer one of the most competitive tuition rates among online programs in pharmacy. If you have any questions, please contact us at ahc-dess@ufl.edu.

Program Cost Estimate

The tuition for the Master’s Degree totals $24,750.  State-mandated fees also apply, and average roughly $1,200.  The tuition for the graduate certificate totals $11,250, and fees average roughly $200.  Tuition for non-degree seeking students will vary according to the course load taken.  UF fees for non-degree students average roughly $40 per 3-credit course.

Financial Aid Eligibility

Only Master’s degree students are eligible for both federal financial aid funding and private loans. Certificate students may be eligible for private loans, while non-degree enrollment does not qualify for either.

Program Cost Estimate

  • Total cost for the master’s degree:  $24,750 tuition ($750 x 33 cr) + $1,200 state-mandated fees ($30 to $50 per cr x 33 cr)
  • Total cost for the graduate certificate: tuition of $11,250 ($750 x 15 cr) + $200 state-mandated fees ($10 to $30 per cr x 15 cr)
  • Total cost for non-degree seeking enrollment in a three-credit course: tuition of $2,250 ($750 x 3 cr) + $40 state-mandated fees ($10 to $30 per cr x 3 cr)
  • Tuition and fees are charged based on the credit hour. Most courses in the program comprise 3 credit hours.
  • The tuition rate is the same for in-state and out-of-state residents, and for those living outside of the U.S..
  • The tuition rate is the same for all courses, regardless of enrollment status (i.e., whether the credit is applied toward the master’s degree program, a certificate program, or in a non-degree seeking capacity).
  • In addition to tuition, state-mandated fees are charged for each credit hour. The rate is set each year by the state legislature and varies according to student enrollment status and program. Typically, fees range from $10 to $50 per credit hour.
  • Additional fees may be applied for late payments.
  • The UF application fee is $35.
  • UF M.S./Stetson M.B.A. joint program information on tuition, fees, and financial aid.
  • Tuition and fees are payable on a rolling, term-based schedule. Students may pay tuition via credit card, electronic check, or paper check. A processing fee is assessed for credit card payments.
  • Our program does not accept the UF EEP or Florida State Tuition Waiver. We are an off-book program and do not receive funds from these programs.
  • The University does not accept payment plans, but students can adjust their course load according to budgetary factors. Students can take half-semesters or full semesters off from coursework, if needed, to meet budget constraints.
  • All students enrolled in for-credit courses will pay a Gator One Service Fee. The $5 fee will be issued at the beginning of every fall and spring semester. More information regarding this fee can be found here.
  • The cost of textbooks and course materials is expected to total less than $2,000 for the MS degree, or $1,000 for the graduate certificate.  The cost of purchasing a computer, and acquiring Internet connectivity is not included here.

As per the Florida Board of Governor Regulation 8.002 (2.a.2.), you are invited to view our self-supporting programmatic tuition and fee comparison.
