- Bachelor’s degree or higher in any academic discipline from a regionally accredited institution; a background in pharmacy is not required.
- Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher, calculated (roughly) on upper-division coursework. Please follow the instructions on this worksheet and include the worksheet in your application. If your upper-division GPA is below 3.0, please email Assistant Program Director Heather Steingraber.
- International students may be required to pass a test of English language fluency. Contact DESS for more information.
- Pursuant to Florida Statute, your application requires inclusion of all post-high school education and employment, as well as information about ongoing international affiliations and research funding. Please ensure this information is included on your curriculum vitae (CV) or résumé.
- Letters of recommendation are not required for admission to the program. While the UF application portal allows for letters of recommendation to be requested, applicants are not obligated to submit letters of recommendation as part of the application process.
- If you are nearing completion of your bachelor’s degree, you may apply for admission to the online graduate program before your degree is officially conferred. If admitted, your bachelor’s degree must be conferred prior to the first day of classes in your term of admission. Additionally, you must submit original, official transcripts noting the award of your bachelor’s degree to the University of Florida Office of Admissions no later than the start of registration for your second semester.
Note: M.S. + MBA degrees follow the same requirements and application process as the master’s degree.
